Join Rhonda and Dariece for this special Reiki and Restorative Yoga event. Reiki is a gentle hands-on Japanese technique used for stress reduction and relaxation. Rest deeply in gentle Restorative Yoga poses while receiving Reiki. Restorative Yoga and Reiki work in harmony to balance your energy and promote healing on physical, energetic, emotional and spiritual levels. Class size limited to 6.

This class is for anyone who wants to learn how to open their hips more. If you sit a lot for work, aren’t exercising like you used to, or if you do workout and want to learn techniques you can incorporate into your routine to help you squat deeper and have more mobility…this class is for you! Yoga for Larger Bodies

Unsure if yoga is something you can do because of your size? Don’t know how to adjust poses for your body? Want to learn how to make yoga a positive experience for you in a safe environment? Join Kate (also plus sized) to learn and explore many traditional poses. We will focus on the use of props and other supports to open up your practice. Along the way we will laugh, discuss poses, talk about ways to advocate for ourselves in classes, and try out a lot of different ways to practice classic asanas. You will receive handouts to keep of the poses and what ways to best approach each one for your body.

Join Dominique for a two hour exploration of honoring emotional depth through breath, sound and connection with others. The first hour will be dedicated to introspective practice while the second hour focuses on intentional rest through guided nature based meditation and Restorative Yoga postures. Bring a healing object for a community altar, journal, and pen. Light snacks will be provided.

Slow Flow & Yoga Nidra, 6-8pm

Starting with a meditation and easing into class, we will approach our postures with a slower and intentional pace, letting our breath guide us into, within, and out of each pose. Capping the evening with a long, luxurious and guided yoga nidra that flows directly into savasana. Appropriate for all.

Handstands, Flying & Floating, 12-2:30pm

Playfully exploring floating back from standing forward fold and forward from downward facing dog. Working through the mechanics of these low lying and flying handstands to investigate others. Appropriate for all.

Pranayama, Bandhas & Chanting, 3-5:30pm

Learning and practicing Breathwork, internal lifts/locks and digging into those meaningful songs we sing and singing them! We will uncover mysterious aspects of these practices and gather a better understanding of using them as we put them into action. Appropriate for all.

Ashtanga Primary Series, 7:30-9:30am

Practicing the full Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series is a great way to explore fun postures while exploring and improving your stamina. Challenge yourself to move up to new heights in your attention, breathwork and dedication. Appropriate for those with a flowing or Ashtanga practice.

Backbends & Inversions, 12-2:30pm

Taking the time to open our bodies for the preparation and exploration of backbends (of all sorts) and their complimentary inverted poses. These two areas work well with each other. Let’s play and see what new things arise in us! Appropriate for all.

The Eight Limbs of Yoga (Philosophy), 3-4:30pm

Looking through the yogic philosophy lens, we will better understand why the eight limbs (which includes breath and pose work, but so much more!) are an accessible route towards living our best life. Join Amy for this informative lecture and conversation on one of the main tenets of yoga. Appropriate for all.

Ayurveda for Life! Daily Practices for Living in Harmony with Nature’s Rhythms

Explore the basic principles of the ancient healing science of Ayurveda (Yoga’s “sister science.”) Learn daily routines and practices to balance your individual constitution.  Includes the use of breath work, gentle asanas (Yoga postures), relaxation, Meditation, herbs, foods, and various practices for maintaining optimal physical, mental, and spiritual health and balance.  Wear comfortable clothes.  Handouts will be given.  Workshop size limited to 10.  Taught by Rhonda Slota, MA, Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist, Kali-Ki Reiki Teaching Master.
