Introduction to Yoga

Curious about yoga and ready to give it a try? Has it been awhile and you’d like a refresher before coming back for regular classes? This series is designed to give you the basics of yogic body and breath-awareness. You will learn step-by-step through verbal description and demonstration the essential standing, seated, and reclining poses that are the foundation of a well-rounded yoga practice. You will be introduced to principals of alignment, yoga props, and how to use them to make poses accessible for your own body, integrating any injuries or limitations. Gentle hands on assists may be offered and given with your permission. Please bring your own yoga mat. We will provide all other yoga props for use during the series.

Join Rhonda and Dariece for this special Reiki and Restorative Yoga event. Reiki is a gentle hands-on Japanese technique used for stress reduction and relaxation. Rest deeply in gentle Restorative Yoga poses while receiving Reiki. Restorative Yoga and Reiki work in harmony to balance your energy and promote healing on physical, energetic, emotional and spiritual levels. Class size limited to 8.
